Brock Lesnar is set to become a contender for the World Championship if the WWE Superstar wins

This week on RAW, he broke Rhodes’ arm by first attacking him from behind and entering the ring. However, there may be a strict order to his actions.

Brock Lesnar will face Cody Rhodes at Night of Champions this Saturday. By having Rodes injured before the match, it gives the company a reason to let Lesnar win. However, the feud between the two men doesn’t seem to have ended even after Night of Champions.

According to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE is preparing Lesnar as the top contender for the world championship after Cody Rhodes’ victory. If Lesnar wins at NoC, then both Rhodes and Lesnar will win one, and the story will be open on the rubber band.

“And when Brock wins, Brock winning is not a bad thing if Cody can become champion soon. Because you want to create a competitor and Brock is always a competitor,” said Meltzer (34:90-35:00)
