The NBA it features players trying to squeeze every last drop out of their basketball game.

We have seen many veterans in their late 30s and 40s still on NBA rosters.

One player who may need another shot in the NBA is eight-year All-Star Dwight Howard.

Howard spent last season playing overseas in Taiwan.

Although he is 37 years old, Howard still hopes to return to the NBA next season.

Howard said on FanDuel TV that he hopes to end his career in the NBA and win a championship.

At this point in his career, Howard is nothing more than a backup.

But few NBA teams can be in this long-term market.

Howard was very successful in Taiwan last season.

He averaged 23.2 points and 16.2 rebounds per game.

There seems to be a good chance that an NBA team will take advantage of the former three-time Defensive Player of the Year.

We last saw Howard in the NBA during the 2021-22 season.

He was a member of the Los Angeles Lakers and played 60 games with 27 of them as starters.

Howard is nothing more than a 20 minute per game player.

But this can be beneficial for a limited group.

We have seen many veterans take up roles at the end of the team’s bench.

For example, Udonis Haslem is doing this this year with the Miami Heat.

It wouldn’t be surprising to see Howard return to the NBA sometime next season.
