Among the game announcements at PlayStation’s State of Play yesterday, Sony revealed that it will be joining the ranks more and more busy a world of game-changing tools. No, this isn’t the next PS Vita (sadly), but an eight-inch screen, backed by DualSense controls. Sony Interactive Entertainment president and CEO Jim Ryan said the device will allow PlayStation players to play any PS5 game, except PlayStation VR2 titles, over WiFi and the company’s Remote Play protocol.
However, there is no information about the device, but Sony says it will have an LCD screen that can play games up to 1080p and 60 fps over WiFi. The control unit will also have haptic feedback and adjustable triggers for the PS5 controller. It is scheduled for later this year.

The parkour-heavy stealth game will be available this fall.
Speaking of Assassin’s Creed, the next game has a release date. On October 12, Assassin’s Creed Mirage will put the players in the robes of Basim Ibn in the city of Baghdad, 861 CE, and will be more interested in stealth mechanics and parkour movements than in its locations. This makes it look like an older game in the series from the trailers we’ve seen so far, but you still get a kick out of it.
