Tyson Fury has rekindled a potential fight with Anthony Joshua by announcing he has offered his British heavyweight rival a pre-match contract for a showdown at Wembley Stadium in September.
“A few days ago I sent a contract to @anthonyjoshua to fight in September @wembleystadium,” Fury said on Instagram.
“It’s the fight everyone wants to see, including myself. Come on AJ lets give the world what they want to see. This time I’m not going to make millions & keep pushing. The ball is now in your court.”
The two heavyweights have been linked to the show on several occasions, most recently in the final months of 2022 following Joshua’s defeat to Oleksandr Usyk.
Fury has criticized Joshua for failing to meet the deadline he set for himself to sign the fight contract in September.
The WBC heavyweight champion fought Derek Chisora in December and was set to fight Usyk in a rematch in April before negotiations ended.
Sky Sports News has contacted Top Rank and Queensbury for comment.
