Women’s Rights Group Compared to the KKK in a VICE Hit Piece

Women of Freedom continue to express their opinions and have the courage to express their rights as free citizens and concerned parents. The recently failed digital platform VICE printed one of the group’s many objections, trying to tell a story from the “other side” of the aisle. (For some reasons there is a “side” of parental rights.)

Let’s say you believe what you read in VICE’s and others’ posts. In that case, the women in this group are brutal criminals who want to destroy the lives of innocent children and families across the country, banning one book at a time. Some on the left go so far as to say that they fear for the safety of their families and even their lives.

Like many conservative groups, Moms for Liberty are victims of history; Today, instead of being called Nazis, these concerned women are more like hooded KKK members. We had the opportunity to chat with the founders of the group; take a look and tell us if these two women look like Grand Wizards:

Run the script

A recent article from VICE was titled ‘A Far Right Moms Group is Targeting Students. These Women Are Fighting.’ Obviously, Freedom Women are not “right wing,” and they are not “student oriented.”

The piece begins with the story of a horrified woman watching a school board meeting as a parent successfully advocates for the removal of the pornographic book ‘Gender Queer’ from school libraries in her district.

This is when this woman realized that she had to do something and fight against what the article called the group of “extremists” for parental rights. VICE names various other protest leaders at Moms for Liberty, showing their strong fight against right-wing evil women.

These groups say in the article that they fight against the “tyranny of Moms for Liberty” and are fighting against “efforts to introduce pro-Christian education in public schools.” Christian mothers who love you, find you every time with their strict sense of virtue, values, and principles.

Founders of the Defense of Democracy group explain Their strategy against Moms for Liberty:

“We treat Moms for Liberty like the KKK. If you knew there was a KKK meeting in a church down the street from your house, everyone would be scared. We just gather, protest, when we have a request. And that’s what we do.”

It’s important to note that even though it would be dangerous if a KKK rally happened down the street from my house, that doesn’t mean it’s impossible because of a little thing called the First Amendment. It’s also important to note that comparing Moms for Liberty to the KKK is like comparing apples to folding campaign chairs; in other words, they are uneducated, illiterate, and I would argue that the person probably did not do well on their SATs.

It’s in the book

Most of Moms for Liberty’s anger revolves around the organization’s focus on banning books from libraries. I grew up in a house full of books, and to this day, I love books.

Banning a book is a disgrace in my family; In fact, when I was growing up, my mother made sure to buy banned books and make sure I knew them. Think Salman Rushdie’s ‘The Satanic Verses’ and Roald Dahl’s ‘The Witches’.

All that being said, I’m not a fan of banning books. But is this what Moms for Liberty really says?

No according to to join Tiffany Justice:

“No one wants to ban books. What we are talking about is saving the contents of the library. You wouldn’t have medical college books that you would have in a seminary, and just because a book is in print doesn’t mean it’s in a children’s library.”

It seems obvious, but let’s look at the book that has received the most controversy from Moms for Liberty – ‘Gender Queer.’ According to the American Library Association, Maia Kobabe’s graphic memoir ‘Gender Queer’ is many the “opposition” book of 2022.

This book not only describes oral sex but also real pictures of oral sex. At a time when our children can’t read, I would say that school libraries can have better resources and less pornography. It’s very artistic I’ll just link to it here.

My Children, My Commandments

Before this story, VICE was printed another Moms for Liberty hit piece titled ‘A Far-Right Moms Group is Terrorizing Schools in the Name of Protecting Kids.’ However, the part of politics that encourages it to be more inclusive, compassionate, and open to other ideas is the most advanced in its language when faced with a counter-argument.

Education Secretary Miguel Cardona recently he said:

“Teachers know what is good for their children because they live with them every day. We have to trust the teachers.”

President Biden he said at a recent event:

“The children of our tribe are all our children.”

No, teachers don’t know what is good mine children because they did not give birth to them; they are not responsible for their safety and well-being. No, mine the children are not the children of the nation, they are not the children of DC, and they sure as hell are not the children of Joe Biden.

Most moms are like me – I don’t care what you do with your kids or what you believe in your home. I just want to make sure my kids are safe and healthy and that they grow up to be good people.

And time and time again, the public school system and government officials have proven that they do not have my child’s best interests at heart. Instead, they care more about showing virtue, taking advantage of political power, and lining the pockets of special interest groups and DEI consulting firms at the expense of my children’s education, health, and my rights as their parent.

Moms for Freedom are parents who worry that books like ‘Gender Queer’ are not the enemy and are not dangerous; and parents doing their jobs. If you want your kids to read porn, go for it; buy those books on Amazon, and read them aloud at dinner if you want.

But don’t expect me to be okay with reading to my son and the taxpayer dollars he pays for on the bookshelves that would be better served by ‘Moby Dick,’ ‘The Great Gatsby,’ and ‘Atlas Shrugged.’
